XDJ-XZ Output Routing
Hi there!
I connected my XDJ-XZ today and was trying some things with the outer channels 3/4 and my pc. my biggest issue is that i can not take the signal from the analog sources to an ASIO channel and map the output to the same channel.
The XZ does exactly what it need when it is in DVS mode in Rekordbox: it takes the timecode signal from ch3 and puts the output from the software to ch3. i cant get this working in any other software
the pioneer mixers all have this mapping feature in the driver tool, the XZ does not, which would be ok for me if the routing would work as expected
or is this something what comes with the serato update?
thanks for any reply!

Unfortunately that's because there's no other functions for those inputs to act as inputs to computer; DVS only. As such, it's configured to route the audio for that and only that in rekordbox (and I believe Serato as well). Sorry.
lets say its DVS only, shouldn't it work with traktor 3 then, which is able to work with non-certified mixers since a while?
all this is interesting, because there is even a setting in the xz utility where you can choose the analog source which should passed through in USB mode.
i made some further research monitoring the specific asio channels and found out something: as soon as you start rekordbox, the pass through works as expected. when i close rekordbox, it ends.
so is it a kind of software lock or a bug? and again the question how this will be handled with serato...
i just try to pick this up again: it works with Rekordbox, Serato, Virtual DJ but I have found out no way for grabbing the analog Signal manually. As soon as I start one of the softwares I wrote the sentence before, the passthrough is "unlocked" and can be used in every other tool, too. I just want to know, why I have to use this workaround.
a solution would be:
unlock passthrough permanently
OR
deliver a driver with routing options like many other Pioneer devices has
