CDJ3000 Queries
hi there
Loving the new CDJ3000's but have a couple of queries please?
1. is there a way of rating tracks via the CDJ? I can't seem to add a star rating to tracks whilst playing them?
2. Is there a way of saving a default waveform setting? I like to zoom in to the waveform but in can't seem to save the setting?
3. Unless i set auto cue to ON the track just starts to play which is annoying but when on the track loads to cue markers at the end of the track which I use as out points. I never had any issues like this with 2000, 2000NXS or 2000NXS2 decks.
any guidance appreciated
Thanks
Paul

Hello Paul and Phil,
Thank you for your inquiries. CDJ-3000 engineers answered your questions.
Rating edit is not available in CDJ-3000 currently.
The waveform zoom settings cannot be saved.
The engineers are not sure what issues you have only with CDJ-3000.
Will you please provide us with the AUTO CUE status ON or OFF, the AUTO CUE LEVEL value you set and if possible, a video to show the reported issues with all the knobs, buttons, faders and screens visible on the CDJ-3000. Also, provide us with some track files played when the issue occurred.
Font size and Preview settings cannot be saved.
Thanks,
CRM, Pioneer DJ
4. Can we have a setting which remembers font size and track preview on or off?
There was another ask - can you set the screen marker to the left position via the settings?
Seems very strange we can't rate the tracks - oversight surely?
The rating thing is actually a complicated issue, but it is coming in a future update. The offset is not currently a My Setting but has been passed to the team for consideration. The player does remember the previously used setting.
Hi Pulse,
Thanks good to know we'll get the rating in a future upgrade.
The offset definitely isn't being remembered for me, it defaults to the centre every time i power the decks back up.
Hmm, did you update to the 1.05 firmware?
I think the offset can be changed with SHORT CUT.
The changed settings are stored in the USB, so if you load a song from that USB, it will change to the changed position.
It is the same mechanism as background color.
Thanks Tomo, I'm using pro dj link to mac and not USB so perhaps that's why it isn't defaulting to the offset position.
I'm on 1.05 FW
In the case of pro dj link (mac), it will be stored on the rekordbox side, so rekordbox may not be supported yet.
Yep i agree never mind i'm sure these little niggles will be resolved.
2 years later and we STILL can't rate a track (functionality lost from NXS2 and XDJ1000mk2).
Why is this still an issue please? It totally does my head and makes me think I should never have upgraded.
Can you pls respond @Keiko @pulse ?
Thank you.
Complexities with the new database, but thank you for your feedback and patience.
