Importing my tracks plus MY TAG info from USB to use on a second Macbook Pro with Rekordbox DJ

I use my desktop base iMac as my main computer for arranging and organising my music library. I add in comments and MY TAG information for my tracks them export from Rekordbox to a USB memory stick which I use with my MacBook Pro when doing live gigs. The problem is that I am unable to upload the USB Rekordbox music my USB stick along with the MY TAG information. Why ? It asks me to sync to the laptops library buy that not what I want. I need to be able to use the library and the MY TAG information stored on the USB stick regardless of what computer or Rekordbox DJ license I am using live at the time.  I need some help here!!
