Help getting my External Harddrive to show up as 'device' on Recordbox
For apple mac, my External Hard Drive was programmed on Ex Fat and was being detected for a 'device' in Recordbox.
However, after I have put Time Machine backed up to my External Hard Drive, I have noticed that my External Hard Drive changed to Journaled Partition. Now, my External Hard Drive is not being recognised as a device when I open Recordbox but when I plug my external hard drive into a CDJ deck, it recognises all of the music and can be played.
Is there anyway to get Recordbox to recognise an External Hard Drive on Journal Partition? I don't really want to change the partition and remove Time Machine, is there any other way? As I believe you can't change the partition, without having all the data on the device deleted.

First and foremost, rekordbox itself can read a variety of drive formats, but only FAT32 and HFS+ are usable by the players, so stick with those. As for partitions, players can only access the first one, and rekordbox is hit-and-miss, depending on how it's structured, etc.
There are some partition managers which can do non-destructive editing, but you really have to know what you're doing. My recommendation would be to make a backup of any data you have on the drive, then adjust it down to 1 partition, format it as needed, and dump the data back to it.
I'm gonna let Pulse take this, he has a great video for setting up the drive here...
