Rekordbox 6 drawing of previews very slow but only on internal SSD
As we know numerous people are having problems with the draw speed of the Preview waveform meaning browsing Playlists is painfully slow, even on very high spec computers.
I discovered the other day that whilst the Playlists on my internal SSD all suffer from the slow draw rate the playlists I’ve exported to my USB for use on CDJs do not. If I scroll down to my USB device on the left and browse my playlists the Previews are drawn instantly and scrolling is very smooth.
Why would this be? Surely my internal MacBook Pro SSD drive can be accessed faster than the USB 3.1 device?

But what I don’t understand is why does it render fine from an external USB and not the internal SSD drive. It doesn’t make any sense?
