DDJ-SX2
So I just purchased a Denon AVR-S740H INTEGRATED NETWORK AV RECEIVER because I have 4 speakers that needed power. I outputted via RCA into the media inputs on the receiver. And nothing works.
I'm using:
2 numark turntables with Rane V2.5 serato vinyl records for timecodes.
DDJSX2 Pioneer controller
Macbook Pro 13 with the newest update
43" Toshiba TV for screen mirroring
Need help...
I'm hearing a high pitch noise when the turntable is running and no music. Calibrations are working but no music. And im not hearing music out of the other 2 decks for the DDJ either. Help!

I'm also using Virtual DJ. Not Serato.
Are your inputs on the SX2 channels set to USB and not PHONO?
Timecode 1 channel 1 set to phono
Timecode 2 channel 2 set to phono
So no...set to phono.
Those need to be set to USB; that's the audio source. It doesn't matter that the input signal (DVS) is coming in - you don't want to HEAR that. With the DVS configuration, the controller receives that DVS signal, sends it to the software, then the software sends music to the controller for the USB input.
