Pioneer ddj sz poor sound quality and poor output

Good day.  I am having a problem with my Pioneer DDj SZ with sound quality and poor output. I switched over from my Denon 3700's and a simple Numark x6 mixer (24bit).  I use the QSC K12.2 speakers Kw181 subs.  The sound quality is like night and day with the SZ vs my Denon setup.  And when pushed a little bit the SZ sounds distorted, with no definition in sound.  The high end really sounds bad.  I also have to turn the line levels up very high to get decent output.  I even came straight from the controller to the K12.2 with no sub, and the quality sound is just not there.  A buddy of mine said I probably need a outboard mixer to boost the signal. Or the K12.2 and the SZ don't like playing together.  I really love the controller, but at a price around $2000 I don't feel that I should have to use a external piece of equipment to get great sound.------- Also, before buying the SZ I purchased a Numark NS73 and the output and sound was much better.  I just could not get pass the all the red lights on it.-------  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Or maybe I just got a bad unit.  Or is this just a common problem?

I've heard of a handful of users complaining about the output on the DDJ-SZ, if you feel there is an issue with the output quality, please contact Pioneer DJ technical support in your region to have your hardware inspected and/or serviced.

Go to your DDJ SZ Settings tool. It's a separate tool with which you can arrange your USB output. Took me 5 years to find it lol :)
