Pioneer DDJ-T1 v DDJ-SX (size comparsion)
I own a DDJ-T1 and I love it but think its maybe just too big that's my only real gripe, now I haven't seen a DDJ-SX in the flesh and I would just like to know from someone that has or seen both is the DDJ-SX any smaller in size? or roughly the same as the T1? from photos the SX looks smaller?

The DDJ-SX is slightly larger, and while a nice big new controller is enticing... I sold the SX and kept the T1. In my opinion, if you already have a T1, the SX is not worth the $999 just to get performance pads. Also, in my opinion, Serato DJ is a step down from Traktor Pro 2 and you can't add effects to the external inputs or reverb to the mic using the SX like you can with the DDJ-T1. If performance pads are your thing, which is the only advantage I see that the DDJ-SX has over the T1...for around $250 you can add a F1 to the DDJ-T1 and save yourself about $749.

This is ddj sx vs. ddj s1. S1 and t1 are the same size...
