Cannot play tracks when using DDJ 400
Got a real brain buster of an issue here
As the title says, ddj400 not playing tracks. When I unplug the controller and use my audio interface, rekordbox plays the songs just fine. The controller is showing perfect signs of life, as the midi controls are functioning normally (eg I can still scroll through the browser, load tracks etc....they just don't play)
System info:

System info:
- Brand spanking new beast of a laptop (made by Metabox)
- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz
- Windows 10 Home, version 20H2 (the latest update - I didn't really want to update to the latest one just yet, but had no choice)
- DDJ400 controller less than a year old
- Latest Rekordbox version
Here's my troubleshooting so far:
Have ensured the controller is working properly:
- Have ensured it isn't the USB cable by testing the cable with other devices, tried other USB cable too
- Updated to latest firmware update
- Followed all of the instructions listed on here https://forums.pioneerdj.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038595992-Troubleshooting-for-Windows-users
Have ensured that it isn't to do with my rekordbox library:
- As mentioned above, RB still plays songs fine, just not when I'm using the DDJ400.
- Regardless, I opted to restore a backup of my RB library, just in case there was some weird ass corruption going on. But that didn't work either
So yeah, not having a good time haha. Hopefully ya'll can help me somehow :(

Hey Cory,
Have you checked that the DDJ-400 is NOT set as the default Windows audio device? If so, rekordbox will end up being controlled by it, but no audio will be output as it's occupied by the system.
