REKORDBOX - DVS Delay in reading the vinyl when it is in low rotation

Hello everyone!

I am new user on Rekordbox and I have noticed that in DVS mode there is a delay in reading the vinyl when it is in low rotation, or almost stopping or starting.

He's not as sensitive as a pure vinyl.

I do not remember what it was like on Traktor, because it's been many years since I used it, but I have seen in some videos that both Traktor and Serato do not have this delay.

My note is a Mac Air i5 with 8GB and SSD.

My Rekordbox is 5.3.0

I use the DJM250-MK2 mixer's internal board with 1.06 firmware and 2.0 driver for Rekordbox.

My DVS Vinyl is brand new and calibrated.

I recorded the video on youtube to show what is happening:

Could someone give me a light?

Pulse

What is the setting for your audio buffer / latency?

Yah Yel

Hello Pulse!

I'm using 256 samples (5.3 ms), it is a Rekordbox default, but I tried to 63 samples it didint work.

Although I tried using the vinyl of Rekordbox in my Traktor and it worked successfully.

Any ideia about what is going on?

Hi, I am having the same problem. I am using brand new clear blue vinyl.

DJM-450 with Mac High Sierra. All software are the latest versions as well as the mixer's firmware.

Thanks in advance!

Sam

Hi,

I just got an OSX message saying: PsvLinksysmgr (ProDJ) is not optimized for you Mac,  and needs to be upgraded by manufacturer :(

Solution is the "Noiselevel" Switch in Manual Calibration , dont use the Auto Calibration its not very precise , when you set an Noiselevel around 0.70 this should solve your Problems and the Software will react to slowest Movements , use manual calibration the reaction to slow movements have not much to do with latency

Pulse

The latency DOES have some affect, but as you're saying, the calibration also does play a factor.

@Elizeu > Please file an inquiry ticket here and our rekordbox support team will be able to gather some additional information to assist you in resolving your issue.

Yah Yel

Exactly @deejaychris1978, the automatic adjustment set the noise level to the maximum!

When I put it to 0.70, everything is back to normal.
Interesting.... in my PC with Windows OS, this didnt happened.

It will be a mistake for High Sierra users?

@Pulse, I have the open request number #64566, maybe a chance for the Pioneer correct this problem for everyone!

Thank you!!

Sammy Gonzales

@deejaychris1978 Thanks for the info, it worked!
