Continuous Play query

Hello

I have a few continuous mix cd's that have been loaded to itunes. If these are played via an ipod the mix is continuous without gaps just like the cd intended.

If I load this to rekordbox and play, either rekordbox or the ddj400 sees the gaps "inbetween" each track so it sounds like each track jumps with a brief gap as it goes from track to track.

Not sure if I am doing something wrong, a setting needs changing or it is a limitation of the hardware?

Hoping someone could shed some light on this please.
