Can't Use Hardware Search Function of CDJNXS2 When Connected to RBDJ
Hey All,
I currently use Rekordbox DJ via USB Link with my NXS2 system to take advantage of the Lighting functionality of the DMX-RB1 with my lighting rig.
While the system as a whole is stable, my biggest issue is that the on-board search function of the CDJNXS2 is disabled, causing me to have to go back and forth between my rig and my laptop, something I'm not a fan of.
The search functionality is currently available with the Pioneer DJ RZX so it would only make sense for the "flagship" system to adopt the same ability, enabling a truly laptop free experience for the user.

Correct, and I don't believe there are plans to introduce that feature to the CDJs, sorry.
Is it worth me even posting in the "requested features" area of the forum or does it boil down to a hardware (or communication protocol) limitation preventing the feature from being implemented?

I'm not sure of the reasoning, probably something to do with "well, you need to have a computer to run rekordbox, and computers have keyboards..." lol
