Headphone Cue Buttons, Master Cue, and Sampler Cue NOT WORKING

Out of nowhere, the headphone cue, master cue, and sampler cue on my two-year, lightly used DDJ-1000 stopped working. One of three things happens: 1) when you press the buttons nothing happens, 2) when you press one or two buttons they control a different one, or 3) the buttons keep turning on and off randomly. All other functions on the controller are fine. I have tried a firmware reset, checking MIDI settings, checking computer settings, and even resetting my Macbook.

Has anybody has a similar problem? Is this just poor quality hardware? As a non-technical problem, feels like some sort of problem with the circuit controlling the cue buttons but I'm just guessing.
