DDJ SX2 Failed to connect audio

I can't connect my ddjsx2 to my windows desktop.

Everytime I connect it to the usb port, at first it has a troubleshoot error popping up. After I reconnect either by reconnecting the cable or turning the ddj off and on it says 'error : failed to connect audio'.

I've even bought a new cable to see if it solves the problem but the same problem occurs. I've tried turning the pc off and on and still nothing. Can anyone please help? btw I have the correct drivers installed.
