No sound from XDJ-XZ using Rekordbox 6.5.1 with MacOS Big Sur 11.3.1

I have followed everything I've found including:

  • Update controller firmare to latest version.
  • Reinstalled drivers from XDJ-XZ_M_3.0.0.dmg, using procedure from Pioneer's website.

I've done the above more than I can count.  The controller works fine in stand-alone mode, which would be fine if that supported all my needed features, especially Tidal integration.

I "think" it used to work with Mojave.  I'm beyond frustrated, both with the problem and Pioneer's p**s poor support and documentation.  I really don't think that a $2500 msrp controller should perform this way.

Can you verify "no sound", meaning headphones, booth out master out?

When you installed the drivers, are you sure you allowed it through security following the steps here? And if you're on an M1-based Mac, did you follow these steps?
