CDJ 2000 + DJM 800 setup ?
Hi there,
I have just got rid of my Numark NS6 to replace with 2 CDJ 2000's and a DJM 800 (Yes yes, big jump). Though, I have no idea how to get it all working and ready to mix with.
I had Serato ITCH which I know doesn't work with the Pioneer stuff so what software do I use ? I can't afford much after buying all that, so cheapest (or even free) would be the best.
So, I would have a computer, a mixing software, a DJM 800, 2 CDJ 2000's and a few cables to connect the CDJ's de the DJM,a cable to link both CDJ's and two usb cables to connect the CDJ's to the laptop.
Is there anything else I need before I can start mixing ?
Cheers, -Thomas.

Why not just ditch the mixing software and use Rekordbox to analyze all your tunes then export to USB?
Hey, thanks. I'll do that :).
Apart from that, do I have everything I need ?
Yeah all you need is to export from RB to a USB. pug it into a cdj run the LAN cable from one to the other, hit Link on both and start playing. If you run into any trouble just give us a buzz on the forums.
Thanks a lot, will do ;)
@Thomas > Did you manage to get everything set up correctly? You can also connect Rekordbox directly to your players - you'll need a network switch to connect a lan cable from each of your players and one from your computer.
