Problem with Rekordbox 5.2.2 the sound is cut off sharply

Currently I use Rekordbox 5.2.2, which is installed on a Dell Inspiron laptop with an Intel Core i7 of 2.9 Ghz and 8 GB of RAM, all drivers are updated and Windows is correctly optimized for dj. The driver I use is a Pioneer DDJ-RB.

However, when I put music into Rekordbox approximately every 40 minutes the sound cuts out abruptly for at least 1 second, which happened to me in a club and it is very embarrassing. I closed the Antivirus included so that Rekordbox has more fluency, but still the persite problem, I installed RB on another computer with Winows and stayed the same.

At the moment I will play using Virtual Dj or Serato Dj until they solve this problem. It should be noted that a couple of colleagues also have this problem. We hope that the engineers in charge of the development of this software solve this problem and are not only focused on adding more functionalities. Otherwise, it will be good to say goodbye to rekordbox. :'(

@Alex > There are many reasons why that might occur, including the antivirus, drive indexing, or even Cortana (running in the background if you haven't disabled her).

Check this article for tips on troubleshooting / cleaning your system.

If you still have troubles with crashing, you may consider switching the primary graphics chipset being used by rekordbox (if you have multiple). Failing that, file a ticket and our rekordbox team will assist you with some further troubleshooting and diagnostics.
