DDJ SZ 12 decibel diference between left and right channel
Hey guys,
I have a pioneer DDJ SZ and I recently found out that there is a 12DB difference between my right and left channel. The right channel is 12DB's higher than the left. I never noticed until I had a gig at a club who had a front of house guy running sound. He mentioned it to me. Prior to this gig I was just running my own sound through my jbl's. I can deal with 2 or 3 DB difference but 12!?! I called Pioneer and they said that they only cover issues during the first year. I called them THREE days after one year and they wouldn't help me. I even asked what they suggest I do and they had nothing to say. Awesome. So, I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if they have a solution I haven't tried.
I have checked the xlr connections, uninstalled and reinstalled software, checked for panning (there isn't a pan feature anyway but I checked)

I am experiencing this exact same thing. I just realized it 1 weeks ago. I had both speakers right next to each other and I realized both speakers (same model setting and size were playing my music at different sound levels. A very noticeable difference. I changed cables and even switched them. My left channel  comes in lower than my right side.

I am determined to having this fixed. Or if this is a universal problem with all ddj-sz or possible this may have been resolved with an update or does a part needs to be serviced? I would like to know.

I’ve had the same issue... known issue with sz controller. Use rca to xlr adaptors
