Exporting playlist nightmare help please.

Sorry if this has been asked before  but I am experiencing some trouble:

1 I analyse tracks I don't  seem able to drag them to my collection and they just don't go and I see a  red circle with a line through it.

2 The only way to keep them is to put them in a  playlist that only exports to the hard drive when my original usb's are plugged in.

3 When I do export them to the Hard drive multiple tracks are not exported?

4 Why I am doing this: because I had multiple duplications(?) after exporting to the hard drive last time so I thought I will reformat to FAT32 analyse all the tracks on my numerous sticks and tidy everything up-result hundreds of tracks  missing and not exported  all in all Rekord box appears to be completely erratic

An idiots guide really  would be helpful please?
