Keeping controller effects when connected to rekordbox - XDJ-RX2

G'day Forum Go-ers,

I am interested in setting up beatport link and so have just connected my laptop to my XDJ-RX2 for the first time. I can load and play songs, however I lose the ability to use the controllers in-built effects on the song that is playing though rekordbox, i.e, sound color effects and the beat FX. I also find that the slip loop function on the controller is completed controller by the rekordbox software. Is it possible to configure rekordbox in such a way that I can use the controller exactly the same as if I was playing songs off a usb (all FX working) and not have any rekordbox effects at all?
