4ch VS 7ch for rekordbox lighting

Hello Rekordbox technical team!

I've been loving my RB-DMX, and I have some par lights that have the option of a 4ch mode and a 7ch mode (both fixture options are available in the RB library).

Is there any benefit to using the 7ch mode?

I don't see any difference in the par's activity when I use 7ch vs 4ch, but I am really curious TECHNICALLY if the application is actually sending additional signals when in 7ch mode (meaning there is potential for more to happen).
