DDJ-REV7 LAG BUTTON PLAY

Hello,

I have a problem when I press the play button on my DDJ-REV7 controller

at a very specific moment when I decide to press play, the sound starts and shifts for no reason, the track moves back 1 thousandth of a second, it's very random, it's not all the time, and it happens on the right jog as well as on the left jog

I have attached a video for better understanding.

there is a loop on the left side and at one point I press play on the right side and for no reason we can clearly see on the waveform on the sound receding

I am up to date Serato and the firmware of the DDJ-REV7 is also

Thank you for confirming that -- it would indicate the problem is not with the hardware. Please create a ticket with the support team in your region for further assistance in resolving this issue.

It actually looks like it's jumping to lock the sync; do you have the quantize enabled in Serato?

Does it do the same thing if you're using the internal samples?

Flavio Schillaci

it's very random,

the problem has already occurred with the synchronization completely deactivated I rarely activate it most often I adapt the BPM manually

Pulse

Does it happen when using the internal samples?

Flavio Schillaci

I never used the internal samples I have to try but anyway I don't think it should happen even with my own sounds

Pulse

I'm asking as a point of troubleshooting - please test it and let us know.

Flavio Schillaci

Ok but And where are the internal samples?

Pulse

Press the INSTANT SCRATCH button, then press one of the 4 buttons to the right to load the sample.

Flavio Schillaci

Ah yes okay the instant scratch I see very well but they are only samplers I do not necessarily use them as music to mix and I would not place a cue on these pieces

Pulse

The question is only whether they have the same "stutter" start upon playback.

Flavio Schillaci

No, I've never had that problem using them.
