Rekordbox scrolling through playlists laggy

I posted this on reddit with no success so here's my post again:

I'm running Rekordbox 5.4.2 on a 15" Mid 2014 MBP 2,2 GHz i7, 16 Gb RAM with the latest MacOS and the Software just seems to be so slow.

Luckily Audio Output is not affected but scrolling through my Collection or Playlists is super laggy and takes forever what makes mixing really frustrating.

My Library is on an external SSD but I made a test playlist that only contains samples saved on the internal SSD and the results are the same.
