Runs poorly on 2018 MacBook Pro High Sierra

 I bought a new 2018 MacBook Pro 2.9 Ghz i9 processor, 32 gig ram running OSX High Sierra, Rekordbox 5.4.0 and now 5.4.1 beta. When I installed Rekordbox there was an error stating developer needed to update app for compatibility or something along those lines. Rekordbox runs horribly and choppy on it. Oddly, my 2012 2.7 Ghz i7 16 gig ram, High Sierra runs Rekordbox beautifully. Is there anything I can do to make it run smoother on my new MBP.

One other thing, I'm sure I am just missing something but how do I prevent autoplay when loading a track on a deck. Not automix, just loading. It doesn't autoplay every track either, just some. Again, this only happens on my new MBP not the old one.
