REKORDBOX KEY CHANGING WITHOUT KEY SYNC ON

Hello, so I would mix and create playlist in rekordbox dj preformance mode via macbook pro.  I am getting issues with rekordbox changing the key without the key sync on.  It usually does not happen when i first start using rekordbox it happens maybe after using for awhile. Now it's important to note that at times it does this to keep the key synced but there has been many times where it actually takes it out of key when a song has the same key originally, which makes no sense.  Regardless the key sync is not engaged and I triple checked this.  Please help I mix very quickly and having to change a key to its normal place is annoying especially using just a laptop.  I never had this issue before thanks.
