Hi there,

I am trying to update my firmware for my XDJ-XZ to the newest version. I have copied the unzipped file onto a usb and follow the instructions to ender the update mode on the controller. I inserted my USB and nothing happens. Can anyone help?

You may not have formatted the drive properly; it must be FAT32 (MS-DOS on Mac) with MBR (Master Boot Record).

If the firmware file was downloaded with Safari, it may have become corrupted when it automatically unzipped it - use a different browser.

Make sure it's the ONLY update file on the drive (there can be other content, just no other firmware files).
