Pioneer 'closing' posts when comments are not positive?

A little weak?

Blindingly obvious feature request that does not look like being solved anytime soon despite both Traktor and Serato having this in place since they launched!

Isn't that exactly how forums work? Your post has an official response and even a further confirmation of the official response.

Your request isn't currently possibe but has been passed along to developers and may be introduced at some point... There's not much more the Pioneer guys can do for you.

For a help ticket I'd certainly agree with a 'yes'... but to close a forum post is not something I have seen very often - as they are usually kept open for people to check in on once in a while rather than creating new topics every time - esp when new updates take place that might affect the topic in hand?

Anyway, it is done now so we move on.

The closing is to keep topics that have been answered by the Moderators in check, and the easiest way around any Forum is to search a question first and then post if needed.  The suggestion of moving the database has been made and sent to the engineers.  The work around I use is to keep my database on my external drives so if I plug into a Rekordbox computer I can see my files and play.  I realize it may not work the way you would like, but regardless of what other companies do, it works the way it does and since release in November has had 14 updates, it is constantly being tweaked based on the end users requests and wants.
