Is there a way to change the timing of tracks marked as "Played"?

There are many instances where I am only playing a track for less than a minute, but it is not registered as "played" with green text.  If I am doing a longer set I might not remember whether or not I had already played this track.  I would prefer for rekordbox to mark the track as green right when a track is playing live, but the ability to choose would be very nice.  Is this possible?
