XDJ-RX waveform & key questions
Recently upgraded to the XDJ-RX, previously had CDJ 850s.
Couple of issues I'm having at the moment. Rekordbox would always work perfectly with my 850s but since moving to the RX there's been some problems.
Firstly, a lot of my tracks won't actually load properly. Some of them load fine and display the waveform and hot cues etc, with others the track itself will load - but no BPM, waveform, cue information will load with it. Any idea why? It's only some tracks this happens with.
Also, I use Mixed In Key software and on Rekordbox I would always overwrite the actual key of the song (eg. 'Bm') with the Camelot wheel version (eg. '8A'). However on the XDJ-RX all my songs load as their actual keys...is there any way to change it to my preferred Camelot way?
Oh and finally, what is the difference between the waveform overview: half waveform or full waveform?

Bcs the problem that waveforms dont load @ XDJ-RX, had the same problem 2 days ago.

Formating the USB stick, copy the tracks back to the clean stick and re-export the playlists @ recordbox to USB solved the problem for me.
Now all tracks have waveforms, BPM,... again.

Mixed in key.
when I run my tracks through mixed in key i choose the option of the result A1 for example written before the artists name. For example A1-Armin Van Crap Pants-Tune.
So then I have both. Mixed in key result in the title and the rekordbox one in the key box.
they don't always match up with each other which comes in handy.
Can anyone help re: changing the key display on the XDJ-RX?
I don't understand why this is not someting they just put in the software. There are many people here on the forum who want the camelot notation, it s just a software problem. Why ooo why don't they fix this?
Licensing.
It's just suprising that showing the Camelot in the MP3-tag in the browser is ok, but showing the Key-tag on the play-screen (and whatever you fill in there is our chose) is license.
But if that's said, it is still to bad!!
