DJM-V10 Traktor Mapping Glitch

Have a brand new v10 with updated firmware to 1.12 connected to traktor pro 3.8 on an mbp OSX Ventura 32gb ram with driver 4.01 installed. It's unusable, when I press the cue on each of the 6 channels traktor is mapping incorrectly, cue track 1 starts a loop, 2 it activates looping, 4 it restarts the track, etc. If I quickly cycle the effects it attempts to "clear the entire list." No idea how to troubleshoot except to delete traktor and reinstall, uninstall the driver and reinstall, and re-update firmware none of which helped.
