Track marker bounces between start and end of loop

Last weekend I finally upgraded from virtual DJ 7.4 with a numero mix track pro to rekordbox combined with a brand new DDJ-1000.

There is 1 thing I find annoying in the new software. I will try to explain:

When I made a loop in a song and I move the platter to the beginning of the loop, the track marker in my platter screen bounces back and forward between the beginning and the end of the loop. For me this is very confusing as I try to scratch the loop into another song.

In virtual DJ 7.4 I could make a loop and then scroll with my platter so the track marker would move outside the active loop. I could then move towards the beginning of the loop and start scratching half a beat before the loop would start without the track marker bouncing between the start and the end of the loop.

This was far more convenient and less confusing for me.

Is it possible to adjust rekordbox so I could move the track marker outside an active loop?

Thanks!

Once the software is in a loop, the scratching remains in that loop, so it will bounce between the start and end of the loop if you move backwards.
