DDJ-1000 Device Drivers Will Not Install

Just purchased the DDJ 1000. Deleted Serato and the SB2 drivers. Installed Rekordbox (runs fantastic). Conected the 1000 to laptop via USB and the drivers failed to install.

USB Composite Device - Ready to use
DDJ-1000 - No driver found
DDJ-1000 - Ready to use
USB Input device - Ready to use

Windows 7 SP -1 64 bit operating system. No AMD parts. Rekordbox program runs fantastic. Should updating to the newest service pack be the answer?
