Jog wheel "sticks"

Jog wheel "sticks"

Jog wheel "sticks"

When using the jog wheels of my XDJ-XZ in vinyl mode, it often happens that the track will "stick". With this I mean after pressing the jog wheel down and letting go, the track sometimes won't continue playing. It is like the jog wheel is stuck, except it isn't (at least not physically). And it stays like that until I push the jog wheel down again, and then the track starts playing again after releasing.

This is very annoying especially when I try to do some scratching or do a backspin (in slip mode for example) and the track just stops playing. It is very frustrating as I only bought this expensive controller a few months ago and the jog wheels have always been very well protected (I don't rest anything on them and the controller is covered by a decksaver when not in use). What should I do, has anyone experienced similar issues?

Thanks in advance!

Hey Tom,

Sorry to hear that - but it seems that the jog pressure switch is reading a continued press after you release the platter. Please contact a Pioneer DJ authorized service centre in your region to have your hardware inspected and/or repaired under warranty.
