[OPEN] Serato DJ 1.7.3 not responding to DDJ-SX2 with 1.05 firmware update

[OPEN] Serato DJ 1.7.3 not responding to DDJ-SX2 with 1.05 firmware update

Running on MBP i5 8GB RAM

Serato runs fine while disconnected. As soon as I plug in my DDJ it freezes up. tracks take forever to load and are completely unresponsive to DDJ. When I hit a button (play/pause) the interface shows the button on the screen light up but nothing plays. Also small version of the wave form shows up but not larger (vehicle) section. I have tried installing and reinstalling software and firmware. I'm kinda freaking out. Please Help!

Did you have any issues with 1.7.2?

I skipped from 1.6.8 (I think) to 1.7.3

I was waiting to upgrade to Yosemite
