Is there a cable that will go from the XDJ-XZ to USB Type C, so that I don't have to use a dongle with my MacBook Pro?

There is, used one with my RX2:

Delock Products 83601 Delock USB 2.0 cable Type-C to Type-B 1 m

Available in 0,5-4m lengths, but I would no recommend going over 3m with USB.
