[CLOSED] Help wiring up new kit - CDJ 2000NXS, RMX 1000, Xone4D, Ableton, APC 40

Hi there

This may sound like a dumb question, however i have the following saga of issues

I have been using Ableton for some time now with my APC 40 and Xone4d, however all a bit dull for me as i have been DJ'ing for 25 years , and i missed the tactile feel of decks, so recently i have purchased a pair of CDJ 2000NXS, and a RMX1000 and I love them used as a standalone bit of kit through the 4D.

However , I would really like to get them linked up in Ableton, so they have their own channels,  record them and also chuck some effects over their output.

My issue is,that i have tried every combination in the Ableton settings to get them to work as individual inputs, but i either get feedback, delay or no ability to play any tracks through Ableton.

As I have been around a fairly long time, i am used to plug and play, so some of the tech is a bit confusing for my pathetic brain, and i realise i am being a spod!

So if there is anyone out there who is able to provide detailed instructions, screengrabs, come round and set my kit up properly, mockery /help, I would really appreciate it

Cheers

TC

@Tony > Do you have the Xone 4D mapped to Ableton as well as the APC 40?

What operating system are you using?

@Tony > I'd give Ableton a shout on their forums for some help with this setup - seems like there's quite a lot to your setup from the software side and I'm sure they'd be able to answer your question much easier than I could!
