DJM 2000 - Traktor "Shared" Device only has 2 channels
Hi,
I did some exhaustive searches but really didn't get anywhere. Basically I have a DJM 2000 w/ latest (1.3) drivers installed, and have used the configuration utility to specify 4 output channels (8... if thinking of L/R separately). I then go to launch Traktor 2 (latest version as well) and it only shows 'Line (PIONEER DJM-2000) (WASAPI (Shared Mode))'. It is selectable but only allows me to output through channel one of the mixer. I was reading the manual for the mixer and what other individuals had posted and confirmed you can do, is be able to output from USB1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8 separately.... however I cannot seem to do that. As I'm not trying to input back through the mixer into traktor, I don't think ASIO4ALL is required here.
Any ideas or suggestions here?
Win 7, fresh install
latest version of traktor
latest firmware/driver for DJM 2000

The problem is you've updated to the new 64bit Traktor and there are only 32bit ASIO drivers available for the DJM-2000. Until the 64bit drivers are released, you need to use the 32bit version of Traktor:
Go to "C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Traktor 2”. In this folder you will find the current 64-bit version of TRAKTOR PRO called “Traktor.exe”. Please rename this to “Traktor64.exe” so that you have a backup of this version.
Open the “x86” subfolder. You will find another “Traktor.exe” inside. This is the 32-bit version of TRAKTOR PRO. Please move or copy this application up one sub-folder to the "C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Traktor 2” folder.
Now launch this newly copied “Traktor.exe” - this will now be the 32-bit version of TRAKTOR PRO.
You should now see the DJM-2000 ASIO available to configure your output routing.
Hello,
I am experiencing this issue with the new version of traktor and my DJM900nexus (nonXS) i just updated the firmware from 1.3 to 1.32 but I can't update it to the 2.5 for the XS bc oof the lack of a usb port, the firmware method does nt work.
I went to the x86 folder of the latest version installation and could not find a 32-bit version of traktor 2 Inside was a folder labeled isodriver and there others inside of it. I know the latest version of tracktor was 64bit only does this mean i must use an older version of traktor?
are you working compatibility on legacy products like the djm 900 nexus?
@Allen > 1.32 is the latest firmware for the DJM-900NXS.
If you have downloaded the Windows drivers (v1.601), those are the most recent, and they contain 64bit drivers.
This post is from 2015, so it's a bit out of date and no longer applicable.
