Hello,

 

I'm really close to purchase a DDJ-1000 but I'm not sure if it can be used by 2 different software in the same time:

 

- deck 1+2, USB1, laptop1 - with Rekordbox

- deck 3+4, USB2, laptop2 - something else (I'm playing also with Djay Pro 2 from Algoriddim for Spotify integration :D )

 

Algoriddim is advertising the console as compatible (excepting Windows compatibility - I'm using on a MacBook for that, it's fine, and waveforms on jog wheel displays) but I'm not sure if it can play nice along Rekordbox on channels 1 and 2.

 

Also, when connected to a computer that runs Rekordbox the effects goes software (right?), can those stay hardware for Djay Pro 2 or they are based also on the software mapping as Rekordbox?

works, but the other sw has to be able to use the asio Drivers. as soon as you use wdm Driver it bleeds in/won't work as you want it to :-)
