CHANNEL CUSTOM GAIN SET INQUIRY [re: Rekordbox w/DDJ-1000]

Hey all, I'm using a DDJ-1000 and I need to plug an external piece of gear into one of the channels.  The problem is, the master output on the gear i'm plugging into the DDJ, doesn't push out enough sound (loudness wise), so therefore I must max out the gain knob on whatever channel I choose, yet it's still not loud enough and isn't hitting the red in the meter.  I end up having to also increase EQ knobs to get more gain out of said channel.

My question here is, would there be a way in rekordbox to increase the gain level on any channels past whatever the knob is already able to do?  For example, is it possible to assign an extra +24db gain (or something) to a gain knob of any channel??  I haven't seen a way to do this as yet so figured I would ask here.  Thank you in advance to anyone who can answer this.
