Loosing connection between XDJ-Aero and Android phone

I got my hands on a XDJ-Aero and it seems to be the device I always wanted (except for the missing Hot Cues and no CD mode for the jogwheel).

I have a huge problem though, when connecting my android 7.0 Moto Z Play with the Aero: as soon as I load a track the connection between phone and Aero is lost. The connection works with my android tabled fine, but it's an old tabled and pretty slow, so I like to use my phone.

Haven't tried it with my Macbook yet will check that out later. I tried the Aero as an access point and as a client and it's always the same problem.

So does anybody know where the problem might come from? I am gonna try reinstalling the app on the phone again, maybe that will help, but known issue with a connection like that? I read somewhere something about firewalls causing problems, but my phone shouldn't have any and it works up untill the point when a track gets loaded on one of the decks.
