DDJ SZ2 master level meter led blinks sometimes
Hi,
I recently purchased a DDJ SZ2 console.
Problem A:
- one led from master level (the red arrow in the image) is not working(or sometimes just blinks) after like 5 minutes of usage of the DDJ.
When i start the unit and its cold everything its ok but after 5 minutes it reproduces. I tried to restart the unit and still not turning on/blinking. The sounds its normal, the other leds are working fine but this one does this.
Is there something i can do for it? Can this in time affect my unit? I am thinking that this is a bad soldering and I am not sure how this can affect it, i am just wondering.
Problem B:
- if the Sound Color FX knob is set in center( right between Lo and Hi) and then I enable an effect, should i hear this effect right away? I was expecting that only turning the knob to Lo/Hi i should be able to enable it.
Thanks :)

Problem A sounds like a bad solder joint / connection / diode. You can send it in for repair under warranty if you'd like (please contact Pioneer DJ technical support in your region to arrange that).
Problem B is normal; the 12 o'clock position is the zero for the color FX; turning the knob in either direction will send parameters for whichever effect is enabled.
Thanks for the response. For the problem A, if its only that led and will not cause any issue, i will leave it for now.
As for the problem B, i uploaded a video showing that even if its at 12 oclock position its really not zero. I dont know why, maybe some settings from serato? But i didnt touch that and is really annoying to override the song whenever i enable it.
Have a look here please:

Sorry, I should have noted that the Echo and Jet FX have some value at the "zero" (12 o'clock) position; that's normal.
