Glitchy sounds when selecting tracks and misc. DDJ-1000 and Rekordbox

Hi,

I'm new to Rekordbox and the DDJ-1000.  I have noticed my glitch tracks have gotten better since I increased my buffersize a little, however been noticing occationally a noise that comes across my audio when selecting a track by using the mouse in Rekordbox or using the selector knob on the DDJ-1000.  Also sometimes after I freshly loaded a track, if I use the fast forward or fast rewind buttons, after doing this for a little while, the DDJ-1000 will skip to another track all together.  I don't know why this would be glitchy like this.  I have a fast laptop, Dell Latitude with 2.7 GHz i7-4600 processor, 8GB ram, and a 256gb solid state drive.  I've been using the DDJ-1000 for about a week and have updated the firmware right after installation as my computer recommended.

Can you help me figure this out?
