Rekordbox 5.8.3 with DDJ-1000 - recordings disappeared

All my previous recordings from Rekordbox are gone. Except for the recent one I just have finished. Before I started the recent one I had a few erroneous, I stopped the recording, canceled and clicked Delete in the dialog within RB. I usually do not want to keep the trial/error short recordings. It worked until now. There is zero chance I could have accidentally deleted several folders and files. I have not touched it for a few days... I guess my recordings are gone... but is this gonna happen again?
Seems like a SW glitch.  

EDIT: The recordings entire structure is gone from RB too.
