Rekordbox not recognising DDJ-RB

Hi all

My problem is that my controller works fine on my Windows Laptop, but I want to use it on my Macbook instead because it runs better, however Rekordbox DJ is simply not recognising the controller, it just calls it a USB MIDI Device and so I have no response from any of the faders, knobs etc.

I have tried installing drivers although i'm pretty sure I don't need to on my Mac, and I have also tried removing the device from the Audio MIDI Setup window and plugging it back in.

I then thought it might be because I'm running my sound out put from my laptop into a pre-amp through to my KRK's but after removing that option I can use Rekordbox and play out of my computer speakers.

Nothing I have tried has worked.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
