DJM 250 MK 2 Won't Turn On

heard a pop when turned wall socket to on, sounded like it came from the DJM power cable connected to power socket - not the mixer (mixer was in off mode). Sure enough something electrical had shorted. However I can't test it as there doesn't seem to be ANY compatible power supplies available to buy. Is there any way of dealing with this to avoid expensive repair shop as the mixer isn't that expensive and repairs would be uneconomical (might as well buy a new (non pioneer) mixer.

Pioneer - why is it so hard to buy a replacement power cable? Looks like I will just get rid of this mixer and buy a new one from elsewhere, not very environmentally friendly
