DDJ SX2 pads flashing

Hello there, recently a problem make its appearance to my controller. When i press certain buttons the light of some pads is affected, this happens only to the right deck. I found a video which is showing exactly the same problem ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoKmMcATnVo ) . I would really appreciate if you let me know the followings:

1) Does this problem affects the functionality of the controller?

2) Because I am out of warranty i would like to know if this is a common problem and i will be able to get my controller fixed with no cost or at least the estimated cost of fixing.
