Does the Kensington Security slot also prevent the unit being opened?

I know the idea of the Kensington slot is to attach a cable lock and affix the unit to something immoveable to prevent theft. But what I'm wanting to also to is prevent the unit from being opened at all while they are out on loan. Is the location of the security slot in the CDJ 2000 NXS and also the DJM 900 SRT in a position which prevents the unit being opened?  eg does it go through the top and bottom section of the outside casing of the unit?

Cheers.

Bugger, that's a shame. Seems like a missed opportunity to capitalise on installing the security slot overall. Maybe It's something to consider for future case designs? If it's an issue with the depth/width of the combined pieces of plastic preventing the lock from reaching all the way through, maybe a small metal plate could be used instead. It would be a nice feature to have this extra protection.

The purpose of the lock is to prevent them from being taken from a venue.  You could replace the screws with security if this is a major issue for you.
