slider for channel 1 keeps sliding down in volume automatically on reckordbox even when it's at 10 on the controller. I have updated my reckorbox software and reset the midi settings but nothing has changed.

Hey Tom,
It could be the fader assembly is faulty and thus transmitting MIDI signals to the software even when it's not moving. Please contact a Pioneer DJ authorized service centre in your region to have your XDJ inspected and/or repaired.
Have you updated the firmware on the unit?
