Booth out Recording sounds flat (DDJ 1000)
Hi All,
im trying to use my booth output to record a set on my iphone but it sounds flat (no bass). I'm using trs to trs (guitar to 3.5mm) then trs to trss and then my iphone lightning. My booth volume is at the 9 o clock position. Anything higher gives distortion, but the recording does not sound right.
Not sure if this is an iphone, cable(s) or controller issue? surely cant be a recordbox issue? Anybody have a similar issue?

Your iPhone is expecting a mic level, not line level; don't connect it that way, you're basically overdriving a mic input. Use a dedicated audio interface for your iPhone if you want to do that.
