DVS on DDJ-1000
I have been a Pioneer loyalist for over 20 years. Really happy with the products and that's why I continue to purchase devices from Pioneer. I've become disappointed since purchasing the DDJ-1000, which cost me $1200, since it is not on the list of devices that unlocks the DVS feature in Rekordbox. While the DJM-450 and the DJM-250MK2 are on the list to unlock the DVS feature, they cost way less than the DDJ-1000. This is really unfair for those of us who support Pioneer products. Pioneer / Rekordbox should really consider expanding the unlock list of products so that it includes items consumers pay a lot of money for.

The DD-1000 itself is capable of controlling rekordbox, whereas a DJM is not; it requires some kind of other device to input signal, and that signal is DVS, which is why it's included on that and not the DDJ.
